MONTHLY VIRTUAL STORY EVENT
Join us on April 26 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM (CST) for a 10-minute story performed by Katherine Tanner Silverman, followed by a facilitated conversation. This month's story follows the experience of a person who has been managing anxiety and depression from a very early age, their struggle to cope in high school, and the eventual healing that became possible in college. This event is free and open to the public, so please pass the invite along to anyone who may be interested. We can’t wait to see you there!

SINGER/SONGWRITER EXPERIENCE - SHOWCASE
Over the past 4 weeks, these singer/songwriters engaged in a workshop designed by Erasing the Distance intern and MSW candidate, Nayla Maya Colon. Participants were interviewed about their mental health in the traditional Erasing the Distance format and then used their transcripts along with basic concepts pulled from therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative therapy to write the lyrics to an original song. Join us Wednesday evening via ZOOM to hear the results!
